Windmills + Inspiration
Published October 24, 2008 @ 10:32AM PT
At the core of social entrepreneurship is the belief that something better is possible, and moments of inspiration that push as to reach for that possibility. For this Friday, watch this video about William Kamkwamba, a Malawian teenager who saw a picture of a windmill in a book and figured out how to build it to provide his family with electricity. Read more about the story here, and watch his performance at TED:Africa here.
