The Daily Entrepreneur: Tech Entrepreneurs and Innovation Galore

Today it seemed like every interesting entrepreneurship post was coming from the tech sector, reflected in these goodies:
- Monitor110: A Post Mortem: A deeply honest and reflective post from now-defunct investor information service Monitor110 co-founder Roger Ehrenberg. This is a must-read for tech entrepreneurs, but also contains some good food for thought for social entrepreneurs, as well. I think that the importance Roger places on staying close to the customer (or in our case, stakeholder?) is essential.
- Economic Advice From An Entrepreneur That's Actually Practical: Dawdle.com founder Sachin Agarwal offers some specific and tangible advice for the new administration to inspire entrepreneurship. His take is that the advice Obama is getting is from outliers - not the more common entrepreneurs who build small successful businesses that never hit $100 million - and that what's important are things like simplifying the incorporation process and revamping the Small Business Administration.
- An Innovation Action Plan for Obama: Along the same lines, innovation guru Thomas D. Kuczmarski lays out a seven-point plan to really spur economic innovation, including intellectual property auctions, research and development tax-credits, and more. Great stuff.
