In a nice interview with PodVentureZone, Good Capital founder and convener of Social Capital Markets 2008 talks about his work, the upcoming conference, and questions of social investing and entrepreneurship in general. For those of you who have read the "Debates" page and are thinking about the questions of how to define social entrepreneurship and social enterprise, Jones' definition might interest you:
"[To us] it means a social purpose business where the purpose is baked into the DNA and you can't strip it out. It's not just a percentage of profits you donate when times are good..."
