Tell Ford To Break With The U.S. Chamber of Commerce
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a lobbying and legal organization with thousands of large and small business members across the nation, is taking an aggressive, anti-science stance on the pressing issue of global warming.
Recently, a number of large companies, such as Apple, Microsoft, and energy companies Exelon and PG&E, have publicly distanced themselves from the Chamber’s regressive actions on climate change. The Ford Motor Company should be next to break from the Chamber. Ford has stated its support for the breakthrough national clean car standards. But Ford’s clean car commitments are undermined by their continued participation in the Chamber—the very group now suing to stop the Environmental Protection Agency from moving forward on efforts toward cleaner cars and other global warming solutions.
Please tell William Ford Jr., chairman of the Ford Motor Company, that it is time for Ford to make a public break with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and its stance of denying the science and need for action on climate change.
P.S. In addition to this action, I encourage you to sign the petition at StopTheChamber.com and read more about this corrupt organization.
This is a one-time pledge that can be fulfilled any time.

it is the responsibility for all car companies and any motor vehicle manufacturers to make all they produce alternative fuel capable. it would be remise and a waste of time, money and effort to leave out the environment and the health of the people when taking on such a responsibilty, but it would be a bigger and greater fault, if the people consented to purchasing a motor vehicle that would not fare up to our standards for the benefit of ourselves and the environment.

I cannot imagine anybody in change.org reading the first sentence or two about the "CHAMBER'S" POWERFUL LOBBYING AGAINST GLOBAL WARMING CONCERN without wanting to sign this petition and share it with others you know who might be interested. Don't forget your family, and ESPECIALLY folks not in change.org (YET!) Peace, etc., Bruce
