Help Others Discover The Coins and Gifts.
One of the most important things to me here on Change.org is the Coins and Gifts! Although the site has reformatted its pages and now one may see (Give Gifts) on the top of these pages, I still find many people who have no gifts yet!
Granted there might be a few who may decide not to partake in this, but I am sure it is a very small few. Many times as I make new friends here I see people that have no Idea about it! Some that have even been here working for quite a while and have a-lot of coins built up. I have helped many to discover this and I am always happy to do so!
This is a pledge to help every new friend or anyone we can who has no gifts. Aloha, Walt.
The following is just a brief on how it works:>
There is eight major causes supported by eight nonprofits, click on(Give Gifts) to see these. You will also then see how many coins you have at the top right of this page. The more work you do here such as signing petitions getting, recruits and so on, the more coins you will accumulate.
You will also see how many coins it takes to send a certain gift. Next you will need to choose friends that you feel you can trust with your e-mail address. You and they will exchange e-mail addresses and then you will be able to send gifts to each other. You may also send these to anyone you want with a e-mail address even if they are not members of change.org.
You must use the e-mail address that you have used to join change and create your profile if you want the gifts to post to your change. org account. When someone sends you a gift you will get a message in your e-mail that says ( so and so has sent you a gift on change.org click the link below to except the gift)
For every gift that is clicked and excepted a small donation is made to that cause at no cost to us. These small donations do add up and help make a difference. It is also a wonderful way to provide some funding. Especially for those of us who have been affected the most by this economy.
I hope this pledge is helpful to many and keep in mind that..."Fighting is stressful but working can be both rewarding and enjoyable" Keep up the good work!
Aloha and Blessings, Walt
This is an ongoing pledge that should be fulfilled as often as possible.

I have experimented sending gifts to alternate email addresses of some of my friends and have found that it does not matter what email address one uses to send gifts to change.org friends, the name still shows up on our profile pages ... which frankly I find annoying now that this info is smack in the middle cluttering up what I consider to be more important info.
Of course we can "HIDE" these notices one by one ... but that is time consuming on dial up.

I wish they would let you give gifts to "friends" on Change without asking for personal email address.

Yes Ani thanks, Let me be more precise..... If you want the gifts to show on your change.org account you must use the e-mail address connected to it.

-- correction ...
you may use any email address you want as long as it is a REAL email address .. it does not need to be the same one you used to register your account on ch.o.

Thanks to all who have signed, recruited and commented! I see some of us don't mind at all exchanging e-mails with friends here on change, and others do.
Keep in mind that for those who frequent Facebook you can also send them through there. Also I have been informed that change will soon offer another option for this.
Thanks also for all the compliments on this pledge and I am very glad for all the new friends it has brought me and for all those I have been able to help.
Aloha and Blessings, Walt

Hola. Cool, thanx and good day to you all. Walt, someone below asked me to post here the urls for my coin drops, I hope you don't mind :)
These Actions on Change.org, the url :)
Earth Day Coin Drop :)

The idea of coin drops was partially inspired in me by a Jimmy Cliff song, "Pressure Drop"; so, don't let coin get "the drop on you". Enjoy an estival eve' as you can. Ciao, for now.
Matutinally Yours,
james m nordlund reality (aja) :)
